Dear sir/madam, My name is Cheymongkol, and I am currently running the Promotion of the Khmer Culture in Surin province, Thailand. You may know that Surin is a home to millions of the Khmer people since the beginning of the mankind civilization. However, Khmer culture is in a state of decay because of the territory is no longer belong to the Khmer kingdom anymore. I can sit and wait to see the coming of the extinction of the Khmer culture so I set up the program to promote the awareness among the Khmer Surin. I have also downloaded books and Buddhist materials from your website to distribute to interested persons in the province. I hope to see that also Khmer language flourished, and so our Khmer culture. I have also besides promoting the Khmer culture, but also conserving Khmer manuscripts. Tons of Khmer manuscripts are left in temples in Surin and Srisaket, and I have completed just 10 percent of it. It is written in Khmer language using Khmer scripts. I hope that also to put it up on the internet for downloading purpose.
